From the day we met Janet she was always there for us on a moment's notice. I worked as an agent in 1994 and I know most of the agents in the area. Of course, I had my choice of anyone in the business. After meeting Janet, my husband and I decided to stick with her in our home search. I first met Janet two years ago at a real estate investor seminar that she was hosting. She’s been my “go-to” person for real estate ever since. Janet helped me find my first investment property. She did an incredible amount of research in order to find just the right property. She then walked me through the transaction, including negotiating the buy, finding a very professional and reasonably priced home inspector, and finding a lender that was knowledgeable and very supportive of a first time investor. Janet also went the extra mile and found tenants for me.
Recently I put my home on the market. I tried to sell it myself, but after eight months of dealing with shoppers, I gave Janet a call. Despite the down-turn in the local housing market, Janet had a firm offer in my hand in less than three weeks. I’ve worked with other realtors over the past twenty-five years, but I’ve never seen as much effort put into marketing a home as I witnessed when I signed up with Janet. After the buyers and I agreed on a contract, the process was pretty much on autopilot for me. Janet contacted contractors for quotes, helped me make a selection, and met them at the house (so I didn’t have to). She also worked out all the details with, what turned out to be, very fickle buyers. Even with all the buyer induced hiccups, Janet made sure that we closed on schedule.
